Does anyone know of any free anti-virus services available on the internet?

Steve -- Not sure exactly what you're asking for. The following link gets you to Trend's free online virus-scan. Will take some time, though, as their software must be TEMPORARILY downloaded to your machine. Good if you just want to occasionaly do a virus check. --Ev

The best thing is to prevent anything before it becomes a problem. The anti virus programs are cheap (I saw the McAfee Viruscan for around $15) and are the better way to go.

Steve,

Go to this link. I've been using it for 6 months or so.
