Trouble Downloading

Post by Roy Thomson »

My Real Player Basic 7 will not play the music stations. {I don't know why??}
To-day I tried downloading Music Match and find it automatically downloads to my C Drive which I do not want for space reasons. I have 3 other drives and would like to load on one of them.
How can I overcome this problem?
Any help would be appreciated.

If you're using Internet Explorer, the pop up window that comes up for a download gives you the option to save the file to the default location or some other location you specify. If you want it to be saved (downloaded) to a different drive that is where you specify it.

I don't know about Netscape, but it probably has an option somewhere.

If you want to change the drive on Music Match Here's what you do:
Open Music Match
Under the OPTIONS tab at the top of the thing it should say PLAYER and then in that it should say SETTINGS. Click on SETTINGS. A Window should pop up. Then, there should be tabs at the top of that. One of which should be RECORDER. Click on it. Then It goes to a new subject. Off to the top right hand side should be buttons. One of them should say SONGS DIRECTORY. If you click on that, a window should pop up and it will say where your songs are being held. To change it, Just replace whats there with the drive you want. Like Put in there D: or E: or whatever. Then it will save them in there. If it don't work, email me.

Abraham - D-7 string lap steel, standel amp, George L bar, 2 finger picks and 1 thumb, soon to have a pedal steel and probably a Peavey session 400 or Nashville 400.
