My transcriptions of Lloyd Green performances

Post by Jan Jonsson »

Hi,

For any newcomers to the forum (and for anyone else) I just want to mention that my transcriptions of selected Lloyd Green performances are available for free at Walter Stettner's tribute site (under the 'Tablature' menu). All transcriptions have been approved by Lloyd Green himself.

http://www.lloydgreentribute.com

The list of transcriptions includes:

===

Ashokan Farewell (from the "Revisited" album)

Borrowed Angel (from the "Revisited" album)

Calling You (from the "Revisited" album)

Easy Loving (Live at ISGC St. Louis 2001)

Farewell Party (from the "Revisited" album)

Hogan's Dream (from the "Revisited" album)

Jukebox Charlie (from the "Revisited" album) [transcribed together with Jeff Garden]

Remember When (Live at ISGC St. Louis 2003)

So Sad (from the "Revisited" album)

Sweet Memories (Live at ISGC St. Louis 2001)

Variations of a Theme, Part 1 (by Lloyd Green and Tommy White)

Venus Moon (Lloyd's latest original instrumental from 2018 with Russ Pahl on guitar)

Walking Piece Of Heaven - Intro (Lloyd Green with the Calhoun Twins)

Walking Piece Of Heaven - Break (Lloyd Green with the Calhoun Twins)

===

Best regards,

/Jan

Jan has one of the best ears in the business for transcribing steel parts from recordings and his work on Lloyd Green's material is outstanding.

Thank you guys, for the kind words.

I realized that I forgot to mention the significant transcription contributions from Jeff Garden on "Jukebox Charlie". Thanks, Jeff.
