Someone send me a pic that I really like to view in a *.pdd file.
Which programme would be needed to convert it or simply open it???

Sounds like they are Adobe Photo Deluxe image files.
Here is a freeware graphics viewer that lists the .pdd format as a supported file type.
Excerpt: "The accepted image formats are: bmp, bw, cel, cut, dib, eps, fax, gif, icb, jfif, jpe, jpeg, jpg, pbm, pcd, pdd, pgm pic, png, ppm, psd, psp, rgb, rgba, rla, rle, rpf, sgi, tga, tif, tiff, vda, vst, win."
