Gary Carter’s Zum double neck

Is Gary playing 12 string universal tuning on the front neck of that Zum? And the back neck looks like 10 strings - C6? I’m confused.

That's a Double 10 ; sounds like he just tuned his bottom 10th string down to something different on the E9.

He mighty also have one of his levers lowering the low B to A.
(I have that particular change on a couple of my guitars.)
Gives you some nice, powerful bottom-end harmony.
